Plain-language summary: Keep TalePort safe, respect other people and their rights, rate content honestly, and report abuse without escalating it. This summary helps explain the policy; the sections below govern.
1. Where these rules apply
These rules apply to stories, images, audio, translations, profiles, comments, reviews, messages, reports, and other TalePort activity. They supplement the Terms of Service and Creator Terms. Context matters, but an age label, fiction disclaimer, or AI origin does not excuse prohibited content.
2. Safety, dignity, and privacy
Do not threaten violence, organize harassment, stalk, dox, impersonate, extort, or encourage attacks on a person or group. We prohibit hate and dehumanizing abuse targeting protected characteristics, including race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, and gender identity. Do not disclose private contact details, identification documents, intimate material, or another person's personal information without a lawful basis and appropriate permission.
Do not depict or promote sexual exploitation of minors, grooming, trafficking, or nonconsensual sexual activity. This prohibition includes fictional, illustrated, AI-generated, and age-ambiguous depictions of minors in sexual situations. Do not solicit sexual contact with minors or distribute sexual abuse material. Serious concerns may be referred to competent authorities as required by law.
3. Mature and sensitive material
We prohibit pornography, explicit sexual acts intended for arousal, fetish exploitation, and sexually exploitative material. Nonexplicit romance, educational discussion, and responsible artistic treatment may be allowed with appropriate ratings. Do not publish gratuitous graphic gore, glorified real-world cruelty, terrorist recruitment, instructions facilitating violent crime, or encouragement or instructions for suicide or self-harm.
Responsible fictional or educational treatment of difficult subjects may be permitted where it does not promote harm. A Series its creator declares to carry disturbing themes shows readers a link to free crisis lines, and so does reporting self-harm; if you are struggling, support is available. Use accurate age ratings and content warnings for violence, sexual themes, trauma, and other sensitive topics. Covers, titles, thumbnails, and promotional previews must remain suitable for broad discovery. Never use a misleading rating to evade an age gate. Moderation can restrict distribution beyond your selected rating.
4. Rights and authenticity
Upload only content you own or may use. Do not pirate stories, distribute paywalled chapters, forge licenses, or publish unauthorized translations. See Copyright Policy and Fan Content Policy. Attribute collaborators accurately; do not claim another person's work or identity. Review AI-assisted material for rights and safety before publication, and say where AI was used when the Series asks: readers see it beside the rating. AI tools do not eliminate your responsibility.
5. Spam, scams, and manipulation
Do not run scams, phishing, malware, deceptive promotions, repetitive spam, fake giveaways, or payment solicitation that misrepresents TalePort. Do not buy or automate views, likes, comments, follows, requests, or ad activity to inflate reach or revenue. Do not abuse reports to silence someone. Advertising, affiliate relationships, and sponsorships must be disclosed as applicable law requires. A paid Episode must be what it promises: no filler pages, no asking readers to pay again elsewhere, and nothing you have no right to sell. See Honesty & Platform Integrity Policy.
6. Reporting and enforcement
Use available report controls or contact support@taleportworld.com with the relevant URL, episode or scene, description, and supporting information. Copyright notices go through the copyright form or to copyright@taleportworld.com. To report content you believe is illegal in the EU, see EU Digital Services. For an immediate threat, contact local emergency services. Avoid reposting harmful material merely to report it.
We consider severity, context, risk, repetition, and available evidence. Actions can include warnings, age-rating changes, reduced distribution, removal, feature limits, monetization holds, suspension, or termination. Urgent safety cases may require immediate action. Whenever we act on a creator's content or account we send them a statement of what we did, the facts and rule it rests on, whether it was found or decided by automated means, and how to contest it. We may preserve evidence and cooperate with lawful authorities. A report does not guarantee removal or disclosure of private investigation details.
7. Appeals and corrections
Contact support@taleportworld.com to appeal an action, identify the affected account or content, and explain the error or correction with relevant evidence. We review available information and communicate a result where possible. Do not evade restrictions with replacement accounts or repeated uploads. Copyright counter-notices have a separate procedure in the Copyright Policy. Rules and enforcement tools may change with notice as appropriate; existing statutory remedies remain available.
