Plain-language summary: AI and translations are optional creator tools. Requests show demand; generated text remains a draft until the creator reviews and publishes it. This summary helps explain the policy; the sections below govern.
1. Scope and separate language settings
This policy covers supported AI production tools, translated editions, reader language requests, and localization reporting. It supplements Creator Terms, Community Guidelines, and the Privacy Policy. Feature availability varies. A preferred story language, interface language, and selected region are separate settings. Choosing one does not guarantee the UI or every story is translated, establish legal residence, or change content rights.
2. Rights and authorized processing
Use only source work, prompts, reference assets, glossary material, music, voice, and other inputs you have the necessary rights and permissions to process. Invoking a tool authorizes TalePort and relevant providers to process those inputs to perform the requested task, subject to the applicable offer and provider terms. It does not grant TalePort a blanket right to translate all your work or use it for unrelated model training.
Relevant inputs can be transmitted to the selected AI or localization provider. Do not upload confidential third-party information or sensitive personal data without a lawful basis and appropriate permission. Provider handling, retention, and rights can differ; ask support if the workflow does not identify the information you need before using it. We do not promise that every provider has identical retention or training terms. We do not guarantee exclusive rights in AI-generated outputs where applicable law does not recognize them.
3. Requests and purchases
A reader language request is a demand signal, not a purchase, delivery contract, or order to the creator. Supported requests can be saved, aggregated for creator review, and used to notify the requester when an eligible edition is published. Creators are not required to fulfill every request. Requester contact details are not supplied as a creator marketing list. Abuse or duplicate activity may be excluded from demand metrics.
Optional edition purchases show their price before the creator buys them. No charge follows merely from a reader request. Paid generation is governed by Subscription, Tips & Refund Policy. An edition purchase does not guarantee approval, publication, complete coverage, perfect translation, or additional earnings.
4. Draft review and publication
Generated or translated text is a draft. The creator must review meaning, names, glossary consistency, cultural context, safety, rights, formatting, and age rating before approving publication. A preview, generation completion, or saved draft is not public publication. Supported publish, schedule, and unlisted controls determine release. Unlisted content can be shared by anyone with its link.
An edition remains associated with its source Series and Episodes, rather than a duplicate work with separate ownership. Shared artwork can remain unchanged when text is translated; a text edition does not necessarily translate text embedded in images or create a new audio track. Creator credits should accurately acknowledge translators and collaborators.
5. Updates, coverage, and corrections
Changing source text or scenes can mark existing translations as needing updates. Published translation snapshots can remain visible until an authorized correction or republish action replaces them; draft changes do not automatically rewrite a published edition. Coverage and synchronization indicators describe the tracked content, not a guarantee that every visual, audio asset, scene, or interface string is localized.
Use supported edition-report controls or contact support@taleportworld.com with the Series, Episode, scene, language, and problem. Creators and authorized staff can review reports and publish corrections. A report does not automatically remove content or promise a response deadline. Rights or safety reports also follow the Copyright Policy and Community Guidelines.
6. Reading progress and audio
Where language switching is available within the same Episode, shared scene identifiers help preserve the corresponding reading position. A missing scene, changed source structure, or incomplete edition may require a fallback position; exact text offsets are not guaranteed across languages. Browser-local and signed-in synchronized progress have different storage behavior.
Switching text language does not automatically translate audio. Audio availability depends on the edition and content assets. A switch can stop or reset playback rather than carry an incompatible timestamp into a different track. The reader must identify available audio and the current playback state; the service does not promise instant seamless multilingual audio.
7. Demand, notifications, and revenue
Publication notifications depend on supported delivery channels, preferences, and availability; requesting a language does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing. Creators may see aggregated language demand, coverage, and performance data. Authorized staff may need individual records for delivery or investigation. An aggregate report is not a claim that all underlying data is anonymous.
Language revenue reports reflect attributable ledger data, with unknown or unassigned amounts kept distinct from verified edition earnings. Views, requests, and coverage are not revenue. Ad & Subscription Revenue Policy and Story Credits & Creator Support Policy govern actual earnings.
8. Limits and changes
AI and translations can contain errors, omissions, bias, or unsuitable material. Creators remain accountable for published work; reader reports help identify corrections. We may change providers or features with notice where required, preserve applicable purchase remedies, and restrict unsafe or unlawful material. Contact support@taleportworld.com for feature or billing questions and privacy@taleportworld.com for data requests.
