For Creators
Your story. Readers around the world.
Bring your finished artwork. Build your series. Publish and manage language editions with tools made for visual storytelling.
What you earn
70% of ad and subscription revenue, 90% of tips.
- TalePort+ subscriptions
- 70%70% of net TalePort+ revenue forms the creator pool, shared out by qualified reading minutes.
- Ads
- 70%70% of what the ad network pays TalePort for qualified impressions on your pages.
- Reader support
- 90%90% of what the tipped credits were worth to TalePort after the app store took its cut — not 90% of what the reader was charged.
Net is what TalePort actually receives: the price a reader paid, less app-store fees (Apple and Google), payment processing, refunds, chargebacks and sales tax. For ads, net is what the ad network pays TalePort for impressions on your pages.
This is TalePort’s standard program offer. The Ad & Subscription Revenue Policy sets out who qualifies and how reading and impressions are counted. A separately agreed rate replaces the standard offer for that creator.
Publish once. Reach readers in more languages.
Choose your series’ master language, then manage additional language editions inside TalePort Studio. Each edition belongs to the same story, so readers follow your series and share its ratings and community.
Use the Episode’s Editions step to prepare translated lettering, review the result, and approve it before release. You choose when an edition is ready. Text already drawn into an image remains part of that image; editable lettering makes language editions possible.
AI-assisted translation requires a plan with AI access. You can also write and review translations yourself. Edition availability and purchase pricing are shown in Studio.
How publishing works
Four steps, and you can stop at any of them and come back.
- 01
Set up your Series
Title, genre, audience and age rating. The rating comes from a short set of questions rather than a dropdown, because it decides who can be shown your work.
- 02
Build an Episode
Upload your finished pages in one go and put them in order, or plan scene by scene and bring artwork in as you go. Both routes end in the same place.
- 03
Submit for review
Every page is checked against the rating you declared before it goes live. You are told the outcome, and if something is over the line you are told which page and why.
- 04
Publish, and share the link
Publishing is yours to press — approval never publishes for you. Your Series gets a public page anyone can open, whether or not they have the app.
What the Studio gives you
Bring your own artwork
You draw in whatever you already use. The Studio hands you a written prompt per scene to work from, and takes the finished pages back in a single upload.
Lettering that is not pixels
Speech bubbles, narration boxes and SFX are a layer over the artwork. Replace a page with a better version and the lettering stays where you put it.
Writing help, when you want it
Assistance for premise, scene plans, dialogue direction and continuity. It proposes; you decide. Nothing is applied that you did not accept.
A rating you can trust
The review reads every page the same way every time, and shows you what it found before you submit — so an approval is not a surprise and neither is a send-back.
Ads that respect the story
You keep breaks out of the moments that matter. A short Episode carries no break at all, and a page with strong language is never one an ad sits beside.
Readers you can reach
Followers are told when you publish. Readers on your public page can ask to hear about the next Episode by email.
What it costs
Starting is free, and a free account can upload, letter, review and publish a full Series. Paid plans add the writing assistance and raise the limits.
TalePort does not draw your comic for you, and no plan claims to. What the Studio does is everything either side of the drawing.
